we are running sql anywhere 5.5 and 9.01
is there anyway to tell when the last time a sucessful dbbackup was run of
the database
does it set a flag in a log file or something like that ?

i want to be able to warn my users if they haven't done a database backup
for an extended period of time

In version 9 you can write your own CREATE EVENT ... TYPE BackupEnd to
store information in a table when a backup finishes.
