Hi,

I can't get this right. It's a brand new win 2003 installation, which
refuses to connect. Details below.

[root@qlinux root]# hostname
qlinux
[root@qlinux root]# ifconfig
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:0A:5E:53:A8:63
inet addr:10.1.1.50 Bcast:10.1.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:3069942 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:2202585 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0
RX bytes:3582855383 (3416.8 Mb) TX bytes:1021732311 (974.3 Mb)

lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
EtherTalk Phase 2 addr:0/0
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
RX packets:1004 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:1004 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0
RX bytes:78364 (76.5 Kb) TX bytes:78364 (76.5 Kb)

[root@qlinux root]# netstat -unap | grep adsd
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2989 0.0.0.0:*
1999/adsd
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:3001 0.0.0.0:*
1999/adsd
udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2001 0.0.0.0:*
1999/adsd

Got the following in ads.conf

IP_PORT=2001
INTERNET_PORT=3001

ads.ini in arc32 folder has:

[qlinux]
lan_ip=10.1.1.50
lan_port=2001

[drives]
z:=\\qlinux\sys

What should I check for? I'm starting to get desperate here...

Check the /etc/hosts file. Verify the first entry that references qlinux
has the correct ip addr.

That's fine. I've got 20 other workstations quite happily accessing.
It's just this win2003 server for terminal services giving grief.

I've added some diagnostic data.
