Hallo
I have a problem to show RTF documents in a
richtextedit-Control.
When I create a text in Wordpad save it and then I show it
in a richtextedit-Control I get a word wrap not at the right
side of the Control, but some words befor.
It looks like the Control do a word wrap at the right margin
of an imaginary page layout.
You can see my problem in the little PB-App in the
Atachment.
When you show the rtf-document in the Attachment in my
Application (Put in the Edit Line the name of the
rtf-document with full path and then click on the
show-Button) you see a word wrap in the middle of the right
half of the control.

I hope somebody can help me.

Thanks,
Thorsten Scherfel

The native PB RTE is a bit old and doesn't support newer RTF specs. Have you
tried using controls from www.subsystems.com or http://www.textcontrol.com/?
PB 10.5 should have a newer control that should support the latest RTFs.
