If someone could give me a hint - from a VB6 app I need to share dbf / ntx
files with a DOS application where ADS locking is set off. Can I set the
locking off in the connection string for VB (OLEDB), or in the data
dictionary for the database?
Currently gettting "Invalid Open Mode".
Thanks

Hello Cliff,

You can use LockMode=ADS_COMPATIBLE_LOCKING in the connection string.
