hi,
how can I select a listview item programmatically ( by giving its index or
something )...
it should be like lv_1.selectitem(1) or lv_1.selectindex(1) but...

This is just a shot in the dark but, try something like this:

ListViewItem l_lvi

lv_1.GetItem(1, l_lvi)
l_lvi.Selected = TRUE
lv_1.SetItem(1, l_lvi)

Change the 1 to be what ever index you want.
