We need to do CRC checks on some (if not all) our tables. We where hoping
that there is way withing the database to do this. We could do the CRC on a
row in a table or a field withing the row.

You can add a CRC check to each database page by specifying the -s switch on
the dbinit command line, but there is currently nothing in the database that
allow you to do that on a row or column level basis.

Can I then get the CRC on the page, and a function to get the current CRC?

Every time the database engine reads a page into memory from disk, it checks
the CRC value for you automatically and will ASSERT if the values don't
match. There is no functionality to get the CRC values yourself.

v901 or up is needed to be able to enable page-level checksums.

Every time a page is read from disk into memory (this will be done on
selects, updates, inserts and deletes), the CRC check is made. If the check
fails, then the engine asserts ( i.e. shuts down ), and the connection that
executed the SQL that caused the assertion will get an error similar to
"Checksum failure on page X". This message will also be printed in the ASA
engine log.

Nothing that I am aware of.
The database itself adds CRC to the page level (this was a recent new
feature), but I don't believe addresses your needs.
