The WHERE clause will limit the number of rows in your result set. For
example :

select * from employee

will return all rows, but

select * from employee where status = 'employed'

will only return those rows where the value in the status column is
'employed'.

What tool(s) are you looking to use to communicate with the database?

Please always post the version and build number of SQLAnywhere that you
are using (e.g. use the command "dbeng9 -v" for SQLAnywhere 9.x)

Please provide the version and build of ASA.

Can you be more specific with what you mean by filter data? Do you mean a
view based on a table?
