The basic explanation is in a pdf document

www.ianywhere.com/developer/product_manuals/
mbusiness_anywhere/57/en/pdf/developer_reference.pdf

I found it very hard to get help on pods as I too am a beginner in C++ and I
had to pay somebody to come in and help me start to write the pod.
The guy came in and set up everything then left, leaving me to try bungle my
way though the pod.
I used embedded C++ to write the pod.
I think it is because most guys don't want to give away source code.
This is what I got on pod samples and coding
ftp://www.cyberprop.com/pods/pods.zip
Good Luck

I am downloading the sourcecode, thanks a lot!
Now I just have read the developer's reference, then want to have a
practice.
I think it is fairly hard and tiring to write pods for pods's complex
conceptual content,at least to me now.
Good luck to all!

What is it that you are hoping to do with a custom PODS?

determine if you *really* need to create a PODS?

if you have the opportunity to design your web app from scratch, then plan
to utilise the dynamicHTML, Javascript and HTML 4 and XML db or UL db
features to cater for your needs. You really should only resort to creating
PODS if you cannot achieve what you want to do using the above technologies.
i.e. device or OS specific interactivity.

hth.

In addition to Tony's comment, the majority of mBA customers do *not*
develop their own PODS. PODS is a great way to enhance the capabilities
of mBA, but if you are just getting started then first figure out what
mBA itself can do out of the box.

PODS are device-specific, whereas sticking to Javascript and HTML is
portable to all mBA clients.
