Hi;

I've just created a new database in ASA9.02. I unloaded my
current ASA8 users and data and then reloaded into the newly
created asa9 database.

Strange: all my loaded users from asa8 can not login to asa9
database.

=============
[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Anywhere]General
error: RAISERROR executed: Unable to login. Database
failed to retrieve user data.
Error code=-99800

SQL state=HY000

==========

Do I need to reset the password for everyone or there are
options to keep the asa8 user passwords.

Thanks
Sue

Are you sure this is not coming from a custom
login_procedure [an option]
or
connection event handler
?

The RAISERROR sounds like user logic to me
