I have just installed ASA9 on a Netware 6.5 Server.
When I type
dbsrv9 -x {MYIP=192.168.0.100} database.db
the database starts, but I receive the error
"Unable to initialize requested communication link"

- I am an MCSE 2003, but fairly novice on Netware. Any
suggestions would be very helpful.

Try:

dbsrv9 -x tcpip(MYIP=192.168.0.100} database.db

MYIP is a parameter of the TCPIP protocol, and as such you must specify
the protocol for the -x parameter.

Hope this helps,

Ooops. Either use curly braces (the old way) or round parentheses (the
new way), but don't mix and match as I did above...sorry.

dbsrv9 -x tcpip(MYIP=192.168.0.100) database.db

I have tried this:
dbsrv9 -x tcpip{MYIP=192.168.0.100} database.db
and still getting this response:
"Unable to initialize requested communication link"
