Hi All,

How does one deploy a PB application to Appeon in a scenario
wherein the customer does not own the source code. In short
how to ship an Appeon ready PB application to end
customers...

For example traditional client/server PB applications can be
shipped in CDs with a setup program created using
Installshield...is there a mechanism the same can done for
Appeon deployment?? Can they be deployed as a WAR or EAR
files??

Appreciate help...

Regards,
Amit V

hi Amitv,

Appeon provides a packaging tool in the Appeon Developer toolbar to generate portable installation “packages” for Appeon deployed Web applications. With the installation package, the customer can directly install the Web application without getting source code.

For detail information, please refer to the packaging and installing Web applications section in the Appeon Developer User Guide.

Regards

Sally Li
