Hello,

Can anyone tell me the advantage of using either the ads bdp.net or ads
.net? I know there are some direct table functions in ads .net that ads
bdp.net may or may not provide but what about performance and compatibility
with the net framework.

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

The bdp.net driver provides some nicer built-in functionality in Delphi (like
the concept of "live data" on adapters). BDP also provides a layer of abstraction
from ADO.NET that provides consistent data types between different databases,
etc. Check out the BDP.NET documentation in Borland's help for more details.
