Hello,

This the third time in 8 days that I was not able to access by Advantage DB
Server from
by Web application and we received error 6097: "Bad IP address specified in
the
Connection path or in the ADS.INI file." I recycle the application pool in
iis manager and it is OK again. Any ideas concerning this problem?

A little more information: The work process memory usage continues to
increase until it reaches the recycle limit of 800 MB.

Michael

it might be that the ADS server was not reachable at one point and you
got the 6097. ACE cahces connection errros and until restarting the
application (reloading ACE32.DLL and AXCWS32.DLL) the error remains.
To disable connection caching, add following to your ads.ini file:

[settings]
retry_ads_connects=1
