Hi,

Perhaps I am being more stupid than is actually necessary, but I am trying
to access Advantage Database Server (8) from FoxPro 9. Using the Ole DB
provider I can connect, retrieve and save information. I can even implement
transactions. All this works fine when I use ADO.connection and
ADO.recordset objects.

However, for various reasons, I would prefer to use a CursorAdapter object
to connect to the ADO objects. When I do this, I can still send and
retrieve, but transactions are not working. I have set the UseTransactions
property on the CursorAdapter to false, but it still won't work.

Any thoughts, hints, clues, and humorously sarcastic comments would be
appreciated ...

Hi Adrian,

This seems more like an OLEDB specific issue. I am forwarding this to the
OLEDB NG.
