Since enforcing all HTTP connections to use HTTPS, client mobile devices
(Treo 650 & 600 confirmed, assuming all other types of devices are also
effected) are no longer able to download the pylon client software via the
web. From what I can see, these devices continue to be redirected to
https://servername/wap.asp over and over again. When accessing the link via
an Internet facing computer browser this problem does not exist. I'm using
a Pylon SecureGateway in a DMZ using all standard ports, a known good
certificate has been imported using thejava console on the SecureGateway
machine and the certificate is accepted by mobile devices.

I'm looking to deploy iAnywhere for 100+ devices but not being to have
mobile devices download software automatically over https is very
disappointing (I have no desire to support local computer syncing services -
one of the strong points of this software is that it is not needed!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Update: I was incorrect in the original posting, regular internet broswers
exhibit the same infinite redirection when accessing the Secure Gateway
using HTTPS.

I've tried setting the SecureGateway to enforce the use of SSL and then
leaving the Mobile Gateway settings to allow HTTP in hopes that the secure
gateway would communicate via HTTPS to mobile & web devices but would use
HTTP(80) when reverse-proxying to the Mobile gateway. Unfortunately this
doesn't seem to be an option. The only other potential factor I can see for
this odd behaviour other than the programs being defective is the fact that
I have different certificates installed on the Secure Gateway(Pylon web
server) and Mobile Server (IIS). If this is indeed the root of the problem,
could someone verify, and then provide instructions on how to export key
from IIS and import the certificate into the SecureGateway from a file using
the java "KeyTool". When exporting my certificate key in IIS to a P7 format,
I've never been able to import it into the SecureGateway key file.

Once again timely help is greatly appreciated,

Mark C.
