Hi all,

I'm testing Appeon 3.1.
In my application, the transaction object is re-defined with an object
inherited from transaction named "nv_transaction".

All datawindows are inherited from an ancestor named "u_dwa". This ancestor
has a method named SetTransObject(nv_transaction a_trans) with the following
code:

-------------------------------------------------
IF super::SetTransObject (a_trans) < 0 THEN
RETURN -1
END IF

// Save the transaction
i_tr = a_trans

----------------------------------------------

This works fine in PowerBuilder 10.2 , but with Appeon, SetTransObject
fails, and I cannot retrieve data.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Please try the following method to work around the issue:

Step 1: Change the name of the SetTranObject function in the
u_dwa object, for example, to uSetTranObject. Make sure the
name is different from SetTranObject.

Step 2: Modify the code in the uSetTranObject function to
the following:
IF SetTransObject (a_trans) < 0 THEN
RETURN -1
END IF
// Save the transaction
i_tr = a_trans

Regards
Sally Li
