In the Appeon deployed (with excelerator) application the following code
doesn't work.
this.SaveAs(path, Excel!,TRUE).
Only the column header are saved in the file. If I'm changing the formattype
to Text! it works fine.
Very thankful for support on this issue.

Hi Ingela,

We cannot reproduce the problem you met. And one important limitation you
have to notice is that the dynamic DataWindow can only be saved as TXT file
in Appeon Web application.

If you do not use dynamic DataWindow, will you provide us the more
information as below for investigation?
1, SRD file of the DataWindow where you want export data from.

2, all or a part of data contents in the Datawindow where you want export
data from. If it is not available for commercial secret, will you provide us
after the modification?

3, if there is error message appeared when you perform the SaveAs function,
please provide the screen shortcut of the error.

Regards
Jing.Zhang

Hi again,
There are no error messages when performing the SaveAs function.
I'm enclosing the SRD file and a small datafile.
TIA
Ingela

Hi Ingela:

The cause of the problem is still unclear, you may try the
following to temporarily work around the problem: save the
data of the DataWindow as the TXT type first and then change
the generated file to an EXCEL file.

You can take the following code as reference:

// Step 1: Generate TXT file
dw_1.saveas('c:\test.txt',Text!,true)

// Step 2: Replace TXT file with EXCEL file type.
integer li_FileNum
li_FileNum = FileCopy ("C:\test.txt","C:\test.xls",true)

if(li_FileNum = 1) then
messagebox("","OK!")
else
messagebox("Failed",li_FileNum)
end if

// Step 3: Delete the TXT file generated in the Step 1.
FileDelete("C:\test.txt")

I will let you posted when there is any finding.
