Setup -- Linux / Sybase ASA8.0
I have 2 different server instances (dbsrv8 connecting to different
databases) running

Iam able to connect from Sybase Central to both databases. Using dbisql for
the first database (whose server runs on port 2638) it connects seamlessly.

But when i try to connect to the second database using dbisql (whose server
runs on 49152) am getting the following error:-

JZ004:User name property missing in drivermanager.getconnection()

Your help is appreciated !

Thanks,
Suri

Please do not cross post.

The newsgroup sybase.public.sqlanywhere.general (where you have also posted
this question) is the best location for question on ASA. Since your question
is linux specific, you may want to consider the
sybase.public.sqlanywhere.linux forum as an alternate.
