Hi all,

Is it possible to have a remote server using DBFCDX ?.
I have an application that uses ADSLocalServer and need to upgrade it to
remote server to improve speed and reliability but still need to use DBFCDX
files

If so, what do I need to do with the dictionaries and connection strings ?

TIA,
Paulo

I'm not sure if I understand your question. DBFCDX is ususally a
non-Advantage RDD for Clipper or VO. Do you mean DBF/CDX tables? They
will also work with remote server.
If your app already works with local server, just change the connetion
string to use REMOTE instead of LOCAL and install ADS on the
fileserver. That should be enough.
