I am having Domain/Browsing/Netbio issues connecting to my
ads server. I want to implement the ADS.INI file setting, but I am
confused where to actually put it ? Does this ads.ini file go on my
ADS server, and where ? Or on the client connections, and where ?
What about my OLE/DB connections, where ? I know my
problems are networking, but I want to put in the RETRY_ADS_CONNECTS = 1
so not to make me chase a ghost down.. Thanks

Bob

Hi Bob,

The ads.ini file needs to be on the client. If you want all applications to
use the same ads.ini file on a given computer, put it in the windows
directory (c:\windows) or in a directory in the path. If you want a
specific copy for each application, put it in the same directory as the
application executable.
