I have mail set to Sync with "unread mail only". I had
approx 100 unread emails this morning that synched up and
then did some work reducing the total number of unread in
Notes on my laptop to about 50. When I re-synched it marked
the emails on the device as read but left them there so I
still have 100 on the device. Can't I set the Synch so that
it removes the emails that have been read from the handheld?

Fred:

Where did you set this "sync unread mail only" option? Pylon Anywhere only
allows you to filter based on number of days in the past, as the idea is to
keep the inbox on your device and in your Notes client in sync, viewing the
same info.

The only way to ensure that a 'read' message from the desktop is not synched
down to the client is to delete it from Notes, or file it into another
folder. By doing that, the email will be deleted from the device.

Hope this helps,

Matt..
