How does Advantage Server determine the uniqueness of a user when a database
is accessed? I ask, because when I hit the server from a single PC using 2
different programs (Medisoft and Office Hours Pro), the server thinks it's
being accessed by two different users when infact, it's from a single PC,
two different programs.

TIA,

Patrick Clemins

It uses the network address. Perhaps one application is getting an IPX connection
and the other is getting an IP connection?
