Hello all,

We sync our pda's (palms and ce) with Lotus Notes using Onebridge 5. This
works fine for approx 200 pda's.
There is one Palm Tungsten E2 that becomes veeery slow when you open the
calendar, after syncing. The opening of any view will take approx 30
seconds.
This doesn't happen when you use intellisync.
Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks for your replies!

Arjen,

In case the first reply did not make it to you, I recommend you perform a
clear sync status on the user and have the user restore his device to
original settings. Clear sync status is a utility with a seperate read me
file and can be downloaded through a ftp link which I will post below. To
restore the device to order, open the client application -> choose
OneBridge -> Advance -> Reset to original settings.

Solved!
User had about 10 separate repeating appointments, repeating every week for
20 - 30 years.
When he first had trouble synchronising, a year ago, I warned him and told
him to delete those appointments. He didn't, but removed all occurences from
january 2007 and further. Result: In Notes the appointment still has an end
date of 20 years ahead.
Als he changed a lot of the occurences (current) of the remaining repeating
appointments.

This of course lead the pda to do a lot of calculations, because it had to
work through a lot of appointments, and in the end just displaying a few of
them. After deleting the repeating appointments, the pda was ok again. I had
the user reenter all appoinments for a year and still the pda worked fine,
offering exact the same functionality as before.

Thank you all for thinking with me.
