which account is used to start the job scheduler? we got he following
errors when starting the job scheduler,

Job Scheduler Task connected with Agent on port xxxx
server Error: 9551, Severity: 16, State: 1
server The specified password does not have any numeric characters. New
passwords must have at least one numeric character.

This sounds more like a Remote Server Access issue.

It sounds like your event accessing a proxy table that maps to
an ASE server? Error: 9551 would seem to be an ASE
server reported error.

You will probably set up an external login to fix this.
[see on-line books for "CREATE EXTERNLOGIN
statement, SQL syntax"]

As far as what account is used by events? I'm going to
assume the account used to create the event. This will
typically be your dba account but it could be anybody
with the DBA authority. [for the details on this see the
above on-line books reference for "Permissions"]
