Hello all...We are using PB9.0.3 Build 8004

I am using the Tab objects Select
Tab function in the Tab's SelectionChanged event, i.e.

window.tab_1.SelectTab(3)

However, I am always get a runtime error in the app when the
above line of code is executed. It says:

"PowerBuilder Fatal Error
Please contact Sybase Support Engineer"

Any clue as to why this might be happening? Any info would
be appreciated???

Mark,

I guess I'm confused as to what you are trying to accomplish. As a
user, I click on a particular tabpage of your tab control, and then in the
selectionchanged event you want to go to some other tabpage? Tabpage #3? If
this is really what you want to do, you might trying forcing the second
tabpage change in a post event or function on the window, so that after the
original successful selection of the initial tabpage chosen, the second one
would then get selected. There likely is some problem trying to select a
different tabpage when the first one hasn't been completely successfully
chosen yet? (Guessing here)

If I've got it all wrong, just ignore me. :-)

Richard

Your logic is impeccable. You are exactly right...I have
taken your advice and forced the second tabpage change in a
post event...
I should have realized this...Thanks for your help in
analyzing my muddled question!!!:)
