I always like a challenge but in this case I need to

a: figure whether its feasible using D2006's C# and perhaps some client
software from Extended Systems (e.g .net dataprovider),

b: figure out using AEPs from the PDA should, in theory, work,

c: using a wi-fi 802.11 network might work or

d: forget it until Extended Systems modifies some client side software for
Mobile apps.

Anyone give me some insights and/or code snippits?

Nigel Scott, MVS

you can't do it since the Advantage .NET Data Provider needs the client
engine, which are Win32 DLLs

> b: figure out using AEPs from the PDA should, in theory, work,

yes and no...as long as you can establish a connection to ADS and run a
SQL statement, you can (e.g. using OneBridge Mobile Objects and writing
COM Objects as database interface)

Isn't it possible to create a web app designed for PDA access?

sure. But that wouldn't use the .NET Data Provider on the PDA...
