Hi,

Would anyone be interested in a Sybase related podcast? Sybase, the
company, doesn't appear to be interested at the present time...

I'm thinking of something along the lines of Dot Net Rocks
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/dotnetrocks) but for Sybase stuff.

good.. bad.. don't care?

We are working on Podcasts. Perhaps this is as good a thread as any to
inquire about topics ?

Hi Stefan,

I hate to ask but exactly who is "we"? Last I heard, Sybase was not
interested in making any podcasts for any products. Has this changed
or is this an unofficial project?

thanks

No I don't. If Sybase is considering offering podcasts, that is fine.
If individuals within Sybase will be performing podcasts in an
unofficial status, then it should be specifically stated as such.

Two years ago, I heard through a reliable source that Sybase Marketing
was going to create a podcast. This was dropped by Sybase a week later.

Personally, I would love to have a Podcast from Sybase, as long as it
was technical in nature and not just an infomercial. Preferably, I
would like to see PSE and Engineering perform the podcasts and have
marketing/sales keep their fingers out of it.

Raw device support on Linux seems like a hot topic these days. Or
ASE/Repserver/IQ on the various flavors of linux in general and the gotcha's
involved.
