Hello group,
I am trying to use an ASA database on a handheld using .NET COmpact
Framework 2.

When I firstly access my connection object

Imports iAnywhere.Data.AsaClient

Public Class MainForm

Dim MyConn As AsaConnection

I get the follwoing error

Error 1 Reference required to assembly 'System, Version=1.0.5000.0,
Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=969db8053d3322ac' containing the base class
'System.ComponentModel.Component'. Add one to your project.
C:\DotNetApp\MOrders\MOrders\MainForm.vb 8 30 MOrders

Any ideas on that? My application is working if .NET Compact Framework 1
is used.

I am using ASA 9.00.1402. Is that version or any version compatible with
Compact Framework 2?

Regards

Dimitris Karistinos

I know that this works with ASA 9.0.2.3323 as I just finished building a
test application.
