Hi,

I have made an exe, and the took all the files created in
that directory to the other pc.
It seems to execute the file, but nothing really happens.
(the program doesn´t show anything on screen, it just
executes some SQL queries).
Locally it works fine

Any idea what it would be??

Hi anyu,

the code is correct. As when I execute it on my PC it works
fine and does what it has to do.
But when I make an executable. And copy the executable, with
all the files in that directory + the pbvm80.dll file to a
directory on another pc and then execute it, it doesn´t
work.
On the other PC I also configured the ODBC, pointing at the
same DB.

Use OleDb direct Mode conect to sql2000 db example:

sqlca.dbms="OLE DB"
sqlca.LogPass="password"
sqlca.LogId="userid"
sqlca.autoCommit=false
sqlca.dbParm="PROVIDER="SQLOLEDB",DATASource='10.141.204.91',PROVIDERString=
'database=YourDBName'"

connect using sqlca;
....
open(w_main)

Must Need dbnetlib.dll dbnmpntw.dll ntwdblib.dll(In SQL2000 Install CD)
files.
pbmss80.dll(Full install in your PB's intall fold)
