Not really. Why would you want to do that?

My application is deployed worldwide onboard vessels and therefore i cannot
just recompile the entire application and send out a new installation CD.
I need to change some code in a event on the appmanager object.
Thats why.

I didnt think it was possible, but since it is possible to create meneitem
dynamically, it should also be possible to
add code to those events also.

Not really. From practical point of view it is NOT possible.

Steen;

I have written a few applications where we used a database table to
store the event name and "firing" sequence number. Then after reading these
used the Trigger/PostEvent (ls_var) method. That way we could add, modify,
resequence, etc events from that table anytime. Combined with the
"OpenUserObject" method using a variable (which can then be DB table
riven) - these two features might satisfy your dynamic needs. I would have
to know more details before I could suggest anything more.

Regards ... Chris

If your app is compiled to PBDs you might be able to get away with just
sending out a new PBD with the app manager in it. Try that approach with a
few installations and see if it's the result you want, and stays stable.

I have tried that, but it dosent work. The application becomes unstable.
What we do today, is to make a new PBD file with only the objects that have
been changed and the during startup of the application adds this new PBD to
the front of the library list.
But the problem now is that i need to modify the frame window and this
object is loaded before i add the new PBD and therefore any changes in the
frame window is not picked up.

Then another thing. I it possible to reload a already loaded object. In this
case i would like to reload the frame window after the new PBD has been
added to the library list.

It sounds like you need to do your library list manipulation from the
application object before you open the frame window. TMK, there is no
way to "unload" an object.
