I am trying to use SQL Remote to sync two ASA 9.0.1
databases. When I run the process Extract Database from
Sybase Central (or use dbxtract), I get an error at the very
end: Procedure 'sa_recompile_views' not found. strange
because the database does not have any Views.

The database does get created with data, but is missing
essential sync system records.

I'd appreciate some help.

Hi Robert,

The database is created with ASA 9.0.1.1751. I have tried
extracting with both Sybase Central (4.3.0.2184) and
dbxtract 9.0.1 (see attached .BAT file - need to remove
".xxx").

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Robert,

I cannot see my response that I posted, so I will post it
again (in case).

I created the consolidated database with ASA 9.0.1.1751. I
tried extracting with Sybase Central (4.3.0.2184) and
dbxtract 9.0.1 - see attached .BAT file (need to remove
".XXX")

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Peter,

The version of your database is 9.00. You can get that by running select *
from syshistory in DBISQL when you are attached to the database.

sa_recompile_views was added in 9.01. Once you unload and reload your
database (using the 9.01 tools) and initializing a 9.01 database, your
extract process should work fine.

I have also responded in the case you opened today.
