I get a MobiLink error when following the readme for "C# .NET Version of
TestMessage for Win32". When I select the "MobiLink with Messaging Sample"
menu option, the MobiLink server starts then fails and forces me to press OK
to shut it down. No mods or changes have been made since the installation.
The text from the MobiLink server console is listed below.

Noticed somethings of interest. Not sure if they are factors in the error.

1 - ODBC starts the qanyserv.db database with dbeng9.exe not dbsrv9.exe.
2 - There are no tables shown in qanyserv.db database when opened in Sybase
Central.
Looks like MobiLink server expects tables/data to already be there.

MobiLink console output follows ********************

Worked for me using 9.0.2.3347.
Could you try applying a more recent EBF.
EBFs can be found at http://downloads.sybase.com/swx/sdmain.stm

Thanks for your thoughts and interest. Did update to EBF 3354 but thant did
not solve the problem. Did, however, solve the problem by updating the
database. The .db file was created with a version prior to v9.0.2. I brought
it into Sybase Central and used the upgrade utility. After that, the
"MobiLink with Messaging" started as it should.

Thanks for your hlp.
