I imported an existing War File and it created a new project
in workspace. All classes etc. are shown. When I try to run
the application by right clicking on the project and
selecting Run As - Run On Server it proceeds to open the
browser within workspace and the homepage will return for
the main project. However, a subproject under that where the
JSP I actually modified was located, the page does not
return. It returns "Page Cannot be found". This is for any
subfolder I have. I will try to outline the way the
folders/files are setup. For instance...

CSI (project name folder)
*WebContent
**sesurvey (sub project Folder)
***DeliverySurvey.jsp - This page does not show up.
**csi_home.jsp (jsp for main project works)

If I go out of workspace and deploy and run the application
through the EAServer Manager go to a webpage and view the
application it works. If I then go back to workspace and
refresh the screen it will work.

Can you think of what we are missing or what is not setup
within workspace? Do you have a manual for workspace we
could download? We are lost on this one.

Thanks,

Hi,

When you get the "Page Cannot be found" error, can you check the URL? Does
the URL contain the subfolder to the page?

It is possible that when trying to run the DeliverySurvey.jsp directly,
because the context root of the webapp is set to "webroot", therefore it
doesn't construct the URL to include the subfolder.

Regards,

You are correct, that it originally comes up with the
webroot application csi which does work, but when I try to
put in the url for the application Delivery Survey in the
subfolder that is when it does not work. If I run the
application directly from the EAManger and copy the URL and
paste it into workspace it will come up once. If I edit or
refresh or anything it will not come up and it will not come
up out of EAManager again until I redeploy through
EAManager. It seems that something through workspace isn’t
correct.
