I am not having success at getting our custom launcher to install when
installing and syncing the M-Business Client application on a Pocket PC
(Windows Mobile 5.0). I have placed the CAB file in the location specified
in the M-Business Anywhere Server Adminstrator's Guide but the custom
launcher is not being intalled. Does anyone know if there is a specific
naming convention for the CAB or PRC file in order for M-Business Client to
install it, or is there something that must be done on the M-Business Server
for it to know to install the custom launcher?

Where are you trying to place the CAB file and what did you expect to happen?

For the launcher I created, I had MBusiness Anywhere deploy the executable to
the device. It put the executable in the start menu. Also, note that if you
are using MBusiness Anywhere 6.X, you can specify where it should deploy the
file to.
