Hi,

I've followed the EAServer security admin and programming guide chap 16 to
setup SSL.

Everything is fine until running the SSL sample applet. When I compile the
java client source file it gave me 13 compile errors. Pls read below for the
error message.

I skip this part and go directly to Appeon server and web server config.
I've attached my my config here. Both test setting are fine. After
deployment, the site is just shown nothing.

I used netstat -a to check but 8083 port is listening. Pls let me know if
I've made any mistake.

Thx.

The cause of the wrong is ”jc.bat” don’t find the
“CtsSecurity” package, please make sure that the
“easclient.jar” is included in the CLASSPATH, and then
retry.

Open the “jc.bat” file, the content should included
the following information.

[
@echo off SETLOCAL call "C:\Program
Files\Sybase\EAServer\bin\setenv" set
JAVA_HOME=%JAGUAR_JDK13% set PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
set OLD_CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH% set CLASSPATH=. set
CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%JAGUAR%\java\lib\easclient.jar set
CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%JAGUAR%\java\lib\easserver.jar set
CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%JAGUAR%\java\lib\easj2ee.jar set
CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%JAGUAR%\java\classes\easri.jar set
CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%JAGUAR%\java\classes set
CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%JAGUAR%\html\classes set
CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;%OLD_CLASSPATH% REM echo %CLASSPATH%
%JAVA_HOME%\bin\javac %* ENDLOCAL
]

The way of checking the CALSSPATH, Remove the “REM”
before “echo %CLASSPATH%”, then print the value of
CLASSPATH in the console when execute “jc.bat”,
Check the CLASSPATH whether do include full path of the
“easclient.jar“.
