Hi,

I uninstalled appeon server and reinstalled again but it stopped. I rebooted
and tried to reinstall again but it prompt for system detect a version of
appeon server installed. I've checked but appeon server couldn't be found in
add/remove program.

Pls advise on how to remove appeon server completely.

Thx
Steve

You can always utilize a utility such as registry mechanic which would clean
up all registry entries relating to Appeon Server (as well as other problem
areas in your registry). I would delete or rename the Appeon Server folder
first before using this utility. http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/

I've the same problem. I've uninstalled Appeon Server, I've deleted the
Appeon directory, I've scanned
my computer with registry mechanic... and when I try to re-install... it
prompt for system detect a version
of appeon server installed.

What next?

Thanks!

Hi Guy,

Sybase support finally help me out of this issue.

You can go to the below registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

and delete the folder {XXX.......} with the appeon path included in the key
of this folder (I forget the string of the key since it is a very long
string with char and number but you should find a key inside this folder
which is related to appeon.)

Then you should be able to install

Rgds
Steve
