Hello,

We have a prod.db a small database which is on a Server
I have archive backup's of the database running on the
server.
If I want to create another database(Test database test.db)
from the backup can I do it, If yes please explain how......
In Sybase Central I tried to restore Database and gave the
Archive backup file and entered a different location for the
test.db it did not work.

The same process works for the asademo.db
I did a Backup of ASAdemo.db and was able to restore to
another directory with a different name.
We are using SQLanywhere 9

Could you explain.....

Thanks,

A kumar.

FYI the newsgroup server has been VERY UNRELIABLE lately, so multiple
postings are one way of increasing the chances something will actually
get through.
