Does anyone have any experience (advice) using ADS in a Citrix environmnet.

We are looking for a better way to deploy over a WAN for up to 1700 users.

We have a few customers which use Citrix and as far as I know they
haven't had any problems with our software. I would not be able to tell
you about specific configuration, however.

Again, as far as I know, we simply install ADS on their server like we
normally do, and we use aliases defined in ads.ini, in the WINDOWS
folder, on the client. We don't normally specify a port number. They
usually have a technical person make sure our software is available to
their users. They have around 10-20 users usually. I don't know if there
are any issues with a large number of users - presumably both ADS and
Citrix can handle that kind of load...

My comments are probably not very helpful, but at least you know someone
is successfully using the Citrix environment :)

At one point we had around 100 users on a Citrix environment and it was
still very fast. We got the impression from running speed tests with a
lot of users that if the server can handle the load, and you have your
ADS configured with enough tables/connections/locks/etc that it could
handle whatever we threw at it.
