According to your title, do you mean how Appeon support OLE
Control? Please refer to Appeon Help for detailed
descriptions.
I brief them as below:
Appeon pure Javascript version does not support this
control, including its events, properties and functions, is
not supported.

Appeon Xcelerator version support most features of this
control, except the follows:
Unsupported events: DragDrop; DragEnter; DragLeave;
DragWithin Error;ExternalException; Help; Other; Rename
Unsupported functions: Copy; Cut;Drag; GetContextService;
Paste;
PasteLink;PasteSpecial;Print;SelectObject;UpdateLinksDialog
Unsupported properties: ClassDefinition; ClassLongName;
ClassShortName; ContentsAllowed;
IsDragTarget;linkUpdateOptions;
ParentStorage

Some features above will become supported in the new Appeon
release if the request becomes popular.

As for handling the unsupported features, please refer to
Appeon Migration Guide in Appeon Help.
It is complicated because the migration situation vary.

First, you can encapsulate some of them into PowerBuilder
non-visual user objects (NVOs) and deploy the NVOs to the
EAServer hosting Appeon Server. These NVOs can be called by
Appeon Web applications as well as any other Web application
or PowerBuilder application.

Second, you can re-write it. For example, you can rewrite
the unsupported GOTO statement into other supported IF
statement.

Third, you can also comment out those unsupported.

Always use the latest release of Appeon product with
Xcelerator version, and keep an eye on the newly-released
EBF. You will find more features become supported.

We also discuess the change requests with our product
department regularly.

I think you need to workaround it using OLE control.
Get the blob data into a blob variable and call word OLE
control to display it.
