Hello All - has anyone seen any updates regarding Pylon concerning the
daylight savings time changes due soon? - for admins on windows systems,
there seems there will me major issues with windows servers, exchange
servers, active directory servers, outlook client services - all with
different patch requirements that may or may not work well with the other
patches - I've see nothing about the issue with Pylon, and time/zone
settings from clients and what it will do with calendar events - any one
have any info? - chris o.

The Pylon Anywhere server will require a patch to update its internal tables
with the new DST rules. A prerequisite for this patch will be that the
Windows Server operating system update, which is available from Microsoft,
be applied first. Please consult Microsoft's support site, at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/timezone/dst2007.mspx, for details on this.

This Pylon Anywhere server patch is not available yet, but will be posted
prior to the start of DST (end of February). At this time specific device
information will also be available for Windows Mobile, Palm OS, Windows, and
Symbian.

- where will the Pylon Patch be posted? - for which build versions of
Pylon? -

- as far as I know, MS still has not posted the patch needed for Exchange
Servers - there are lots of other MS patches - in fact, MS is in process of
repatching patches because of unexpected results post-patch with data/time
events across MS OSes and app servers -

The patch will most likely be posted here
http://www.ianywhere.com/support/pylon_anywhere.html under EBFs/Maintenance.
I'm not sure of the specific versions yet.

 - will the 7.x version work against any version of 7.x? - it seems some 7.x updates are not 'certified' as upgrades against all 7.x versions that have been released , e.g. it seems that you can't jump from 7.0.0, 7.0.1, 7.05 or to 7.0.24 - just from 7.0.8 or 7.0.16 -

- will the 7.x version work against any version of 7.x? - it seems some 7.x
updates are not 'certified' as upgrades against all 7.x versions that have
been released , e.g. it seems that you can't jump from 7.0.0, 7.0.1, 7.05 or
to 7.0.24 - just from 7.0.8 or 7.0.16 -
