Are they cumulative? Or do they have to be applied in sequence?

I installed 1.6, then patched directly to EBF #6, and I'm having lots of
problems with that configuration.

Paul,

EBF should be cumulative. The latest version is WorkSpace 1.6 ESD#1 - EBF 14254 (from http://downloads.sybase.com), released last month.

After you install WS 1.6 and apply the EBF, make sure that you cleared eclipse cache. One way to do that is to add "-clean" to the Sybase WorkSpace startup script (%WorkSpace%\Eclipse\SybaseWorkSpace.bat) as shown below. Remove -clean option once you have restarted WorkSpace. This step along with detailed instructions and fixed issues, are documented in the README of the above EBF.
start "Sybase WorkSpace" /MIN "%ECLIPSE_ROOT%\eclipse.exe" -clean -vm "JDK_ROOT%"\bin\javaw.exe....

Let us know if you still have a problem.

Regards,
Samir

Samir,
It was EBF #1 - the "6" was a typo...

I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and still having the error noted in the next thread down:
java.lang.ClassCastException at
com.sybase.stf.jmt.pagedesigner.css2.CSSUtil.getUserAgentDefaultStyleSheet(CSSUtil.java:240)
That appears with the Web Development tutorial when trying to use the Web Page editor.  The app deploys and runs cleanly, but I can't seem to use this feature.  (On a related note - I'm seeing the stack faults in the EAS plugin for Sybase Central 4.3, so I'm really starting to doubt my JDK configuration).

Paul,

If not so already, you may want to install and use JDK 1.4.2_06 that comes with WorkSpace. Otherwise, I haven't seen a follow-up response from Jimmy but he may still be investigating. It looks to me that we need to get details from you to get to the bottom of this issue. Could you open a case with support and we will take it from there.

Thanks,
Samir
