Hi,

I was involved in evaluating the component Stored Procedure
Debugger of the product Sybase Workspace. While evaluating
the debugging process of a Stored Procedure, I happend to
notice a sort of bug when I was tracking down the updates of
the variables used in a Stored Procedure. The variables do
not seem to get updated during the course of debugging.
(Please see the right bottom corner of the attached file, at
the 'Status' pane. For an example, I've highlighted the
status of a variable '@WellName' both at the 'Status' pane
and at the stored procedure debugging viewer pane). While
debugging, the updations of the variables would be one of
the main focusing aspects of any developer.

Your earliest response will greatly be appreciated in this
regard.

Thanks and regards,
VISVESH (Visweswaran Subramanyam)

Thanks Visvesh for your interest in WorkSpace.

Please note that the "Status" area in SQL Results view shows the values of
the parameters passed in to stored procedure at execution time (via
parameters dialog). However, you can look at the changed value of parameters
in the Debug view (on the top-left side) call stack.

Let us know if we can help with your WorkSpace evaluation.

Regards,
Samir
