I get this message "Database error 999. select error. An
error was encountered but no message was returned by the
database driver." - I hit ok and my datawindow pops up with
the data. Anyone know what this means?

Thanks,
Charlie

It means and some internal API call returned an error, but a
subsequent request for error information (number, err message)
returned no information. This is most common when using ODBC, in
which case you can run an ODBC API trace (via control panel) and get a
better idea of which API caused the error. It may or may not be a
benign condition.

Jim,
I found it. Looks like the property for a field in the
datawindow only allowed for 3 characters, database had 6. I
changed the property and it works fine.

Thanks,
Charlie
