Hi

I'm using the dbtools.dll for converting the SQL Anywhere DB from 9 to 10.
After doing the conversion to a new DB file the DB engine stays open
although I use the ASTOP=YES parameter on the connectparams of the dbunload
structure. The server console shows that the shared memory client is
disconnected.

Closing the engine returns an error to the calling application but the db is
converted fine.

Any advise?
Arthur

We would need the repro including your source code in order to comment.

Hi Rob

when I was preparing the sample to you I found out that only somedatabases
(all different test dbs for the same application) have the problem. Most of
them can be converted normally.
Could I provide you the sample dll, application and db on an ftp server and
send you the link?

Regards
Arthur

Hi Arthur,
Your best bet will be to open a support case, then the Support Rep can
you the ftp server details to send in the repro.
