OneBridge syncs it's contacts to the native contacts databases on the
devices. When we sync the contacts we sync the phone numbers to the
default fields. If the voice-dial software pulls the contact
information from the native contacts database then we will work with
that voice-dial software.

Thanks

Mark

I really like that approach ... hurray users will not have to look at the
screen when wanting to dial customer and in the car. Have you heard ? in
some cities they say even talking on the phone in your hand and crossing a
traffic signal can lead you to getting fined

Do you know of any voice-command softwares on the Treo700p that are
compatible with OB+Contact-syncs. Does OB transfer all the sync details like
wokr, cell phone.

One of the issues we have had in the past is users changing the labels on
the lotus notes side .. addressbook. How does OB handle that ? does it sync
both label and value or only value .. which kinda mis-interprets the data on
the phone.

We do transfer all the sync details, I am not aware of any voice-command
software, but can investigate that just a bit.

Although the labels are changed this does not actually change the
"Field" name itself. For instance the default in the notes client is
"Cell Phone". If you change the label to "Mobile Phone" the field name
is CellPhoneNumber for both labels. We synchronize the field itself and
the value in that field.

Thanks
