Hi

we migrated an application from version 9 to 10 (10.0.1) because we have
quite some Java code running in the DB. Version 10 has a big performance
gain in this (and other) area.
Independent of the Java code I came across a couple of issues like a query
which returns different results when running twice or the server crashes
with a lot of string handling in a stored procedure. I reported these issues
to iAnywhere.

We tested the whole application with the DB version 10, but as there are
errors that depend on the data, it's quite difficult to be sure that
everything will run fine. We have to distribute the application to hundreds
of customers. So my question is, if anybody is using the DB version 10 in an
application where the database is running as a server 24 x 7 without being
restarted or if anybody came across similar issues as ours.

Regards
Arthur

You will likely get more public responses asking this question on the
sybase.public.sqlanywhere.general newsgroup.

Are you concerned that the reproducible issues you submitted have not yet
been resolved? If so, then the best approach is to follow up with Tech
Support on the open cases.
