I am using odbc(dsn) connection in my vb.net application to
connect to sybase database ver 7. The dll name is
dbdata10.dll.
I am unable to add reference to this file in visual studio
2005.
getting a error msg " a reference to 'c:\program files\sql
anywhere 10\win32\dbdata10.dll' could not be added. please
make sure the file is accesible, and that is a valid
assembly or com component."
I am able to add reference to iAnyWhere.Data.SqlAnywhere
question:
1) i want to deploy the vb.net application to a client
machine. then create dsn. what is the best way achieve this?
2)should i install driver on the client machine?
3)why saconnection object is not working with sybase
database ver 7.3
thanks in advance
