we are using SYBASE ASE11/12/15/-TDS 5.5 liscenced version
for our applications in AT&T.We are having a space problem
and we just want to increase the space for our data base.We
came to know that sybase has an ristriction of increasing
the space where currently we are having each 2GB
partions.could you please suggest weather we can increase
the space for each partition or do we have any ristriction
on sybase data base.

First, you're posting in the wrong newsgroup. A more appropriate place would
be sybase.public.ase.general.

As for your question, you seem to have been misinformed. Depending on your
exact ASE version you can increase the size of a database up to 4Tb or even
larger than that. Also, database devices can have a size of 2Gb, 32Gb or 4Tb
each, depending on the ASE version.
Please post specific details (in the right newsgroup) about your situation
if you expect a more useful reply.
