Hi
I have come back from all those time consuming Business
Development tasks (Sybase is now a partner in our project)
and installed WorkSpace 1.7 prior to re-commencing my
evaluation of WS. As I ghad also received SQL Anywhere 10 in
the same shipment I installed that as well.
WS certainly felt much more stable and solid, however in
order to stop ASA 9.0.2 and 10 from tripping up over each
other I decided to uninstall everything and planned to
reinstall on separate drives. Well WS 1.7 will NOT
re-install, any clues please? It says it has but does not
install what is required to run WS nor will it install ASA
9.0.2.....

Robin

look for a file called "vpd.properties" in your windows directory. Delete that
file, and attempt the installation again.

Kevin

Thanks for the suggestion

unfortunately, no change, it still wont start and hasn't
installed ASA 9.0.2 either.
