We have a client using roaming profiles. One user accesses the web site and
installs the Xcelerator plug-in and access the application fine. Another
user on the same PC attempts to access the application and gets to the
application.htm page and "hangs" with the "Website Starting" image. In the
lower left, you can see a javascript error with details "Automation server
can't create object". If the plug-in is already installed and registered on
the PC, why would the second user have problems? If the second user runs
regsvr32.exe "...\weblibrary.dll", they can then access the application.

I thought once the plug-in was installed, all users would be able to use it.
Am I incorrect in my thinking or could this be an issue with roaming
profiles? The client is getting frustrated, so any quick help is greatly
appreciated.

Hi,
We didn't reproduce the problem with Appeon 5.0. In fact if
the first user downloaded and registered this plug-in, there
was no need to register the plug-in again when the sencond
user tried to access to the Web application.

Does this problem occur on serveral machines or it only
occurs on a certain machine? Besides what's your Appeon
version?

Regards,
Sally Li

We are using 5.0. The problem came with the plug-in not registering
consistently due to various security settings. Once we identified this, we
were able to get the plug-in registered so that all users can use it.
